Weverse Community Guidelines (Updated May 17th)

Hello. Weverse is an official fan community for fans who love their artists. Positive and enthusiastic community activities by fans are what Weverse needs to become a space where fans and artists can happily communicate and share related content and information. The Weverse Community Guidelines are provided for this purpose. Please refer to the guideline below, and together, we can be a community that makes you happy every time you visit. 1. Please follow the guidelines below for Weverse to be an enjoyable space for all! (1) Feel free to post content that you can enjoy with artists. Feel free to post any content related to artists, such as concert reviews, artist content reviews, information related to the artist, fan activities, your interpretation of an artist’s world or album concepts, merch purchases you want to show off, fan drawings you've done yourself, artist photos, etc. For posts that should be marked as Hide from Artist, please refer to Section 4. (2) You are free to post letters to artist dedicated to an artist. Make sure to add the hashtag #TO_Artist to your post to indicate that this is directed toward the artist. Posts with the hashtag #TO_Artist are collected in a separate space where the artist can see them. Please use your discretion for this type of post since they can be seen by the artist. (3) When sharing the work of others, make sure to indicate the source. There is a risk of infringing other's copyright when you share someone else's creative work. Make sure to include the correct source when sharing work by others. (4) Respect artists and community members who share Weverse with you. Weverse would like to create a community culture where everyone respects each other. Please use an appropriate and respectable form of address, and make an effort to avoid offending others, and therefore we can create a culture where everyone feels respected. (5) Express your support with the Comments/Support feature to artists and members who have posted quality content. Express your support using the Comments/Support feature to encourage people to continue creating diverse content. 2. Avoid uploading posts with the following content for pleasant communication. Please do not post content unrelated to the artist/community. Posts with the following content may be immediately reported or hidden, and the user who has uploaded them may be temporarily or permanently restricted from using the service. (1) Posts that request or reveal private or personal information about the poster or others. (Personal information, location, contact information, email address, etc.) (2) Posts that use others’ post (text, image, etc.) without permission, or that do not indicate the source of others’ work (3) Posts that state false information about the artist (4) Posts that promote illegal websites or any money trades, or engages in commercial activities (5) Posts that are obscene or hateful, or that use commonly prohibited words such as swear words, vulgarism, or certain slang (6) Posts that discriminate against or promote prejudice against race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, disease, or occupation (7) Posts that may cause dissension among members by containing content with criticism, condemnation, coercion, intimidation, false accusation without evidence, etc. (8) Posts that include artist images that have been edited for the purpose of hatred or slander (9) Posts that mention or promote other artists or their fandom, or that contain related photos. (10) Posts that defame or slander without evidence, such as insulting or slandering artist members, other artists, or their fandom (11) Posts that may cause others to feel humiliated or offended sexually, including imaginary stories featuring artists’ characters. (12) Posts that contain a portrait of oneself or others. This includes regular photos as well as edited images, such as fabricated photos with an artist. (13) Posts that contain links to other services such as open chat rooms where personal information can be revealed for purposes such as fraternization, sharing, or exchange. (14) Posts that illegally distribute paid content, such as images We appreciate your cooperation in our efforts to create a space where artists and fans have meaningful communication. 3. Avoid engaging in these activities for the sake of a healthy community. Weverse is a space where fans positively come together. The following activities are prohibited to create a healthy community space. If a member continues to engage in the following activities, they may be restricted temporarily or permanently from using the service. (1) Behavior that may cause damage or confusion, such as impersonating or deriving benefits by impersonating an artist, service management, or others (2) Indiscriminate reporting on posts or Discover posts (3) Behavior that causes excessive competition such as a hashtag rush campaign (4) Post flooding, advertising, promotion (including profile promotion), spamming, or fraternization (requesting comments or subscription) 4. Only use the Hide From Artist feature when necessary. The Hide from Artist is a feature that hides a post from an artist. It was created to be used for posts the fans would like to hide from artists, such as posts that encourage to vote/stream, or that contain event preparation details. Help Weverse to be a space where artists and fans can communicate and enjoy their time together. Please only use the Hide from Artist feature for the following types of posts. <Types of posts encouraged to use the Hide From Artist feature> (1) Posts that encourage to vote/stream, or is related to their proof (2) Posts whose nature is to make announcements or spread information only among fans, such as preparation details of surprise events 5. Use the Report/Hide feature if you find behaviors or content that violate the guidelines. If you find a post/activity that violates the guidelines, please report it using the [Report/Hide] feature. You can help make Weverse better with the [Report/Hide]. (1) Please use the [Report/Hide this post] feature at the top right corner of the post if you find any content (post, comment) that does not follow the Weverse Community Guidelines, or that interferes with enjoyable and healthy communication. (2) The Weverse algorithm will promptly take measures against users who violate the guideline and the reported content. In addition, users who continue to engage in prohibited activities may be banned from using the service permanently. 6. Violation of the guideline may subject you to the following restrictions. (1) Restrictions on exposing uploaded posts You are restricted from exposing uploaded posts/comments for a certain period of time. (2) Restrictions on uploading posts You are restricted from writing or uploading posts/comments for a certain period of time. (3) Restrictions on community use You are temporarily or permanently restricted to use some or all community features. (4) Restrictions on profiles You are restricted from accessing other members’ profiles and deleted from their subscription lists. You can upload posts and comments, but the image and link you set up in the profile area are deleted. Weverse is created by its community, and it continues to be created by fans who love artists. Please follow the community guidelines to create a healthy community culture together. Weverse will strive to become a happy community space for both artists and fans.
