Hello. This is SOURCE MUSIC. Through fan reports and our internal monitoring system, we are pursuing legal measures against malicious posts targeting LE SSERAFIM to safeguard the artists’ rights. First, we would like to provide you with an update on the progress made since the last notice. We have faithfully cooperated with the investigation process, including actively clarifying the facts of the damage suffered by the artists. As a result, many cases are currently in trial after being sent to the prosecution, including cases involving charges of defamation based on false claims for comments that used expressions related to political ideology or expressions such as “pseudo-religion” and “cult.” In cases where procedures progressed swiftly, several instances have resulted in criminal penalties, including the imposition of fines. We are closely monitoring the progress of the investigations on the cases currently underway, and we will hold those responsible accountable to the fullest extent of the law, no matter how long it takes, and we will continue our firm response to prevent the recurrence of similar actions in the future. We are responding rigorously to deepfake crimes in cooperation with law enforcement agencies. In order to identify and penalize those involved in the production of illegal deepfake materials through platforms such as Telegram, we have conducted our own monitoring, reported our findings to the investigative authorities, and submitted a petition for severe punishment in the name of SOURCE MUSIC. Even if the perpetrators request a settlement or make a criminal deposit, we will firmly reject these measures in order to ensure that strong penalties, including imprisonment, are imposed. We will continue to monitor the ongoing trial closely and ensure that a strong punishment is imposed. In the first half of this year, numerous defamatory posts that harm the honor of our artists have been identified, including posts involving the dissemination of false information, insults, and sexual harassment. Through our monitoring of domestic communities such as Ilgan Best, DC Inside, Nate Pann, TheQoo, Instiz, Women’s Generation, Jjukbbang Cafe, and FMKorea, as well as overseas social media channels such as X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube, and music sites such as Melon, Bugs, and Genie Music, we collected and gathered evidence of malicious posts and submitted a complaint to the investigative authorities based on this evidence. We will hold the perpetrators of any malicious acts against our artists accountable to the fullest extent of the law without any leniency or settlement. Your reports on behalf of LE SSERAFIM are very helpful in taking legal action against such activities. In fact, during the recent legal proceedings, we actively drew on valuable reports from fans in addition to our own monitoring efforts, and as a result, some cases led to significant penalties. We deeply empathize with the concerns and inconveniences that fans have experienced due to malicious posts, and we will continue to monitor your valuable reports regularly and actively incorporate them into our legal responses. If you encounter malicious posts related to our artists, please report them through the “HYBE Artist Rights Violation Report Website (https://protect.hybecorp.com).” We encourage you to submit your reports in the form of full-screen captures from a PC or full-page print files (PDF) to ensure that your information leads to a more effective legal response. In particular, it would be greatly helpful for the legal proceedings if you could ensure that URLs, usernames, post content, and the dates of the screenshots are clearly visible in your submission. We deeply appreciate your unwavering support and trust in LE SSERAFIM. We will continue to work to ensure that the rights of our artists are fully protected. Thank you.
