March 20, 2024. 📢Changes to Weverse Membership The following changes will be made to Weverse Membership, as of Wed. March 20, 2024. Previous: A single account can purchase an artist's membership only on one country/region's Weverse Shop (One out of Weverse Shop GLOBAL/JAPAN/USA) Changed: A single account can purchase an artist's membership on multiple countries/regions' Weverse Shops (More than one out of Weverse Shop GLOBAL/JAPAN/USA) * The number of available Weverse Shops may vary depending on the artist. Regardless of the number of total Weverse Shops available for the artist, only one membership can be purchased for each country/region's Weverse Shop. * The effective date may vary for each community. Please check the announcement in your community. 🔎What does it mean that I can purchase multiple memberships? If an artist's membership is available for purchase in more than one Weverse Shop, you'll be able to purchase the artist's membership on each region's Weverse Shop separately with one account (the validity period of membership for each Weverse Shop will vary, depending on your purchase date). 🔎From when is it possible for a single account to have multiple memberships? This change will take effect at different times for each community. Please refer to the notice for each community for more details. 🔎If I get to have multiple memberships for an artist from different countries/regions' Weverse Shops, how do I access the digital membership card for each? You can go to the "Membership" menu and swipe your membership card to the side to see all of your membership cards. [How to Access Your Digital Membership Card] Weverse APP: Weverse community -> More (፧) -> Membership Weverse WEB: Weverse Community -> Feed -> Membership 🔎Are the membership benefits different for each Weverse Shop? No, the benefits of the memberships on all Weverse Shops are identical. (The benefits for each Weverse Shop may vary for each community. Please refer to the membership detail page for more details.) 🔎I purchased a membership on Weverse Shop GLOBAL. If I purchase the same artist's membership on Weverse Shop JAPAN, is it going to affect my membership purchased from Weverse Shop GLOBAL? No, it will not be affected. You will simply have multiple memberships of the same artist, from two different Weverse Shops. The membership validity period will vary for the memberships, depending on the time you purchased each membership. 🔎I have a membership purchased on Weverse Shop GLOBAL, and it has some of its validity period remaining. If I purchase a membership with a new concept on Weverse Shop GLOBAL, do I get to have two memberships in total? No, if you purchase a membership with a different concept on the same Weverse Shop, the membership you currently have will be terminated. Only the new membership you purchased will remain, and the membership validity period will start again from the time you purchase it. 🔎My existing membership's validity period was terminated by purchasing a membership on a different Weverse Shop. Can I get compensation for this? If all of the following applies to you, the remaining membership validity period from the Weverse Shop you had it terminated will be re-granted. (1) If your existing membership was terminated due to a purchase on a different country/region’s Weverse Shop between Fri. September 1, 2023, 12:00:00 AM - Fri. February 22, 2024, 12:59:59 PM (KST) (2) If you've never used the benefits of the terminated membership (3) If you currently have a valid membership (not applicable if the membership has expired) Please note you will not be eligible for the re-grant if you have already purchased a new membership of the same artist for your terminated membership before the re-grant schedule. An email will be sent to those who are eligible. 🔎If I had multiple memberships terminated by purchasing memberships on different Weverse Shops, which membership's remaining validity period will be re-granted? If Items 1–3 above apply, you'll only be granted the remaining validity period for the most recently purchased (and expired) membership. For example, if you've purchased memberships on (1) Weverse Shop GLOBAL → (2) Weverse Shop JAPAN → (3) Weverse Shop USA → (4) Weverse Shop GLOBAL, you'll be granted the remaining validity period of the membership from the (3) Weverse Shop USA. 🔎When am I going to have the validity period granted for the terminated membership? The remaining validity period will be granted starting on Thu. March 21, 2024, after this notice. 🔎I have memberships from multiple Weverse Shops with multiple Weverse accounts. Am I eligible for this compensation? No, if you have created multiple accounts and have duplicate memberships in different accounts, you are not eligible for this compensation. Please also note that the memberships owned by multiple accounts cannot be merged into one account. Please contact us at Customer Support for any questions related to Weverse Membership.
