This update has been made to ensure a safer and more positive communication environment for both artists and fans. Please kindly note the following details when using Weverse DM services. [Updates on Usage Restrictions] Members who subscribe to an artist's DM service and subsequently send excessively malicious messages within that DM chatroom will be permanently restricted from using that artist's DM service. [Effective Date] Thu, March 27, 2025 (KST) [Details on Permanent DM Service Restriction] Immediate and permanent restriction from using the artist's DM service, including sending and receiving new messages. Permanent ban on subscribing to the artist's DM service. Restrictions are applied per artist DM product. [Guidelines for Permanent DM Service Restriction] The following actions may result in immediate and permanent suspension of your access to that DM product, including subscription, without prior notice. - Actions that defame or harm the reputation of artists or other members - Actions that use commonly prohibited words such as profanity/vulgar language/slang, and others that go against common sense and social norms - Actions that are threatening or cause anxiety to artists or other members - Actions that cause sexual shame or discomfort - Actions that promote illegal gambling websites - Actions that impersonate the service name, label, company employees, or staff related to the service, causing confusion - Actions that encourage or abet criminal activities - Actions that spam specific messages or cause system errors - Actions that attempt to trade money or goods - Actions that use the personal information of others - Other actions that violate service operating policies and laws * For more details, please refer to the Integrated Terms and Conditions of Use (click here) Article 9 (b), Paid Services Terms and Conditions (click here) Article 4 (c) and Article 7 (c), and Service Operation Policy (click here). [How to Check for Permanent DM Service Restrictions] - If you are permanently restricted from an artist's DM service, you will receive a push notification and an email to your registered Weverse account address with further details. - You will be unable to send or receive messages in the restricted DM chatroom, and you will not be able to resubscribe to that artist's DM service on its product detail page. [Refund for Remaining Subscription Days and Processing of Scheduled Payments for Permanently Restricted DM Subscriptions] 1. If you subscribed to the DM on the Weverse website - The regular payment will be canceled automatically and the payment for the next subscription will not be completed. - If there are days remaining on your monthly subscription, please contact Help on Weverse to request a refund with Jelly. 2. If you subscribed to the DM on the Weverse app You must cancel your subscription directly in each app market to avoid additional payments. If you do not cancel directly, payment will be made on the scheduled payment date each month. If there are days remaining on your monthly subscription, please request a refund according to the refund policy of each app market.
