Hello. This is PLEDIS Entertainment. We have continuously collected evidence of malicious posts and comments regarding SEVENTEEN through fan reports and our monitoring initiatives to protect the rights of our artists and take legal action. Furthermore, we recognize the gravity of the situation in which a large number of malicious posts have been published containing excessive defamatory remarks and false information targeting SEVENTEEN. Below is an update on the progress of these actions. 1. Updates on the Legal Proceedings First, the charges against the identified defendants in the recent regular complaint and the leak of artist information have been acknowledged and forwarded to the prosecution. We are awaiting the outcome of the proceedings. We have actively cooperated during the investigation process to ensure that those referred are subject to severe penalties, and we are also doing our utmost to clarify the facts regarding the damage suffered by our artists concerning matters that are still under investigation. Furthermore, we have comprehensively monitored overseas social media channels (including X, Instagram, and YouTube), domestic online communities (including NAVER, Daum, Nate, TheQoo, DC Inside, Instiz, Ilgan Best, FM Korea, Women’s Generation, Jjukbbang Cafe, and Soul Dresser), and music sites (including Melon, Bugs Music, and Genie Music) during this quarter to collect posts and comments as evidence of infringements of our artists’ rights, and based on this, have submitted formal complaints to the investigative authorities. 2. Our Response to Malicious Accounts on the X Platform Meanwhile, we have received fan reports regarding multiple accounts that have repeatedly posted malicious content, such as defamatory remarks and false information targeting our artists on the platform “X.” Based on these reports, we have initiated legal actions, including criminal complaints and civil suits. Additionally, in order to swiftly verify the identity of the account holders and take necessary follow-up actions, we are currently undertaking relevant legal procedures, including information disclosure requests, to overseas jurisdictions such as the United States. However, insults and defamatory statements against our artists continue despite existing legal actions, and we take this ongoing situation very seriously. We are committed to strengthening our continuous monitoring and response processes to ensure sustained and structural protection rather than limiting our efforts to one-off responses. Furthermore, we will undertake all legal measures to ensure strict punishment for any acts of slander, ridicule, or defamation against our artists without any leniency or settlement. 3. Important Information on Submitting Reports Your interest and reports are of great help in the legal actions we take to protect our artists. Should you encounter malicious posts or illegal activities involving our artists, please report them through the “HYBE Artist Rights Violation Report Website (https://protect.hybecorp.com).” To ensure that fan reports are effectively used in legal actions, we would like to provide some guidelines for reporting. Please ensure that URLs, usernames, post content, and the date of the screenshot are clearly visible in your submission, as this information is critical for legal proceedings. To this end, please submit full-screen captures from a PC or full-page print files (PDF) with all information clearly visible if possible, rather than submitting mobile screenshots, as this will greatly assist in the legal proceedings. We deeply appreciate your unwavering love and support for SEVENTEEN. Your interest and reports are invaluable in protecting our artists, and we are making every effort to respond decisively to malicious acts that infringe upon the rights of our artists. PLEDIS Entertainment will continue to actively respond to ensure that the precious values that you and SEVENTEEN have upheld together are fully protected. Thank you.
