안녕하세요. 빅히트 뮤직입니다. 당사는 방탄소년단에 대한 명예훼손, 모욕, 성희롱, 허위사실 유포, 악의적 비방 등 악성 게시물 작성자를 상대로 정기적인 법적 대응을 하고 있습니다. 관련해 주요 진행 상황을 안내드립니다. 당사는 이번 분기에도 팬 여러분의 제보와 자체 모니터링을 통해 수집한 모욕, 명예훼손을 비롯해 아티스트 권익을 침해하는 행위에 대한 증거자료를 수집해 수사기관에 다수의 고소장을 제출했습니다. 지난 공지에서 안내드린 방탄소년단 멤버 사칭, 미공개 음원 유출 행위자에 대해서는 추가 형사 고소를 통해 구속 기소된 피고인이 판결 선고 전 사죄의 뜻을 전해왔으나, 당사는 합의 의사가 없다는 입장을 명확히 했습니다. 그 결과, 기존 판결에 더해 추가 징역형이 선고되었습니다. 앞으로도 멤버 사칭 및 미공개 정보 수집과 유출 행위 등 명백한 범죄 행위에 대해서는 시일이 소요되더라도 끝까지 강력한 법적 조치를 취하겠습니다. 아티스트 전원이 병역 의무 이행 중임에도 방탄소년단 그리고 멤버 개개인에 대한 악성 게시물 모니터링 및 수집은 실시간으로 진행되고 있습니다. 아티스트를 향한 심각한 수위의 모욕과 조롱, 악성 루머 및 허위사실 등은 모두 취합해 고소장에 포함했습니다. 특히, 아티스트의 군 생활 관련 악의적으로 조작되고 유포되는 명예훼손성 게시물에 대해서는 SNS, 웹사이트, 온라인 커뮤니티 등 채널을 막론하고 무관용 원칙으로 단호하게 대응하고 있습니다. 수십 건의 비방성 악플을 작성한 게시자 및 조롱 목적의 욕설을 게시한 자들은 지난 2022년부터 장기간 수사를 거쳐 각 명예훼손과 모욕 혐의로 기소되었으며, 법원은 이들에 대해 유죄를 인정하고 최대 수백만 원의 벌금형을 선고했습니다. 당사는 사안에 따라 형사고소와 함께 민사소송도 제기하며 엄중히 대응하고 있는 점도 알려드립니다. 방탄소년단에 대한 악성 게시물의 수집과 신고, 법적 대응은 지속적으로 이뤄지고 있습니다. 멤버 전원의 병역 의무 이행 기간에도 법적 대응은 공백 없이 지속할 예정입니다. 혐의자들에 대해서는 어떠한 합의나 선처 없이 강경하고 엄중하게 조치하겠습니다. 앞으로도 빅히트 뮤직 법적 대응 계정(protect@bighitmusic.co.kr)을 통한 적극적인 제보 부탁드립니다. 방탄소년단을 향한 팬 여러분의 애정과 헌신에 늘 감사드립니다. 빅히트 뮤직은 아티스트의 권익 보호를 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠습니다. 감사합니다. --- Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. Our company regularly initiates legal proceedings against perpetrators of malicious activities related to BTS, including defamation, personal attacks, sexual harassment, the spread of groundless information, and ill-intentioned criticism. We would like to provide an update on these activities. During this quarter, we filed multiple criminal complaints with law enforcement agencies based on evidence related to acts infringing on the rights of the artists, including defamation, submitted by our fans as well as collected through our own monitoring. Our previous notice mentioned an individual who impersonated a BTS member and leaked unreleased music. The individual who was arrested and indicted under additional criminal charges for this matter expressed the intention to apologize before the verdict was announced. However, we have made it clear that we will not agree to any settlement. As a result, an additional prison sentence has been imposed on top of the existing sentence. We will continue to take strong legal action against blatant criminal acts, such as impersonating members and collecting and leaking undisclosed information, even if it takes time. We are continuing to monitor and collect malicious posts about BTS and the individual members in real time even as all the members are currently fulfilling their military service obligations. We have compiled and included in the criminal complaints all serious insults, ridicule, malicious rumors, and false information directed at the artists. In particular, we are resolutely applying a zero-tolerance policy as we respond to maliciously manipulated defamatory postings about the artists’ military service across all channels, including social media, websites, and online communities. After a lengthy investigation begun in 2022, the authors of numerous slanderous comments and vulgar postings with the intent to ridicule the artists were each indicted on charges of defamation and insult, and were ultimately found guilty by the court and sentenced to fines of up to several million won. We would also like to inform you that we are taking strict legal action by filing civil lawsuits as well as criminal charges depending on the case. BIGHIT MUSIC regularly collects information on malicious postings regarding BTS, reports them to the authorities, and takes legal action. We will continue taking legal action without interruption, even while the members are fulfilling their military service. We will continue to adhere to strict measures and our policy of no settlement and no leniency to hold suspects accountable.
