The all-new weverse is here now! weverse will now be home to real-time communication with your favorite artists through weverse LIVE, on top of weverse communities. Here's a guideline for the new weverse to ensure both artists and fans can continue to have fun in a safe and positive environment. * The following applies to not only the community feed, but also your profiles, LIVE chats, and comments for media and posts, where users can express their opinions. "Posts" refer to all posting activities (posts, comments, chat messages, etc.) that can be done by the user. 📢weverse is a space for both artists and fans📢 All the weverse communities are created for both artists and fans, as a space where they can come together to share their thoughts between them. Everyone must be respectful of each other. Hate speech as well as uploading posts with topics unrelated to the community, and sharing fake news have been banned. 1) Posts that mention or promote other artists and fandoms 2) Posts that include external links that may reveal personal information for socializing or gift-sending/exchanging purposes 3) Using rude names that may offend others 4) Promoting illegal websites, and conducting business and other commercial activities including financial transactions and sales 5) Posts with controversial topics that are likely to cause conflict (criticizing others, making accusations and threats, etc) 6) Uploading multiple identical posts (spamming) 7) Having too many private conversations that are irrelevant to the community 8) Deliberately stating or distributing false information (includes manipulating and sharing misinformation in the form of images, audio, and videos) 9) Impersonating artists, service moderators, or specific users 📢weverse is a space where everyone is respected📢 All members of a community must be respected and their rights must be protected if a community wants to become truly healthy. The following activities have been banned in order to protect the rights and dignity of both fans and artists. 1) Uploading or sharing posts that infringe on intellectual property rights and trademark rights, or serve to defame and invade privacy of others 2) Posts that illegally share images and other content from paid content 3) Posting images that include photos of themselves or others (including photos of non-celebrities and artists that were edited) 4) Posts that leak or request personal information (locations, phone numbers, emails, and other private information) of themselves or others 5) Infringing intellectual property rights of content belonging to a third party, including unauthorized production, online distribution, supplying or selling of said content 6) Using others' posts (in the form of texts, images, videos, etc.) without permission and failing to credit the original poster. Please cite your sources when you're sharing someone else's work on weverse! 📢Bullying and hate crimes are banned📢 weverse is a platform that values diversity and inclusivity. Please be mindful that this is a space open to everyone around the world, and show respect to everyone. Make an effort to be nice to everyone. We do not tolerate any acts of bullying, alienation, or discrimination against anyone. The following activities have been banned. 1) Defaming and insulting artists and fandoms - Hate speech against people's gender, appearance, religion, disability, age, intelligence, race, region, career, disease, and illness 2) Defaming, slandering, editing images for the purpose of hate/slander, bullying specific users in a community 3) Using vulgar slang or banned words, and posting sexually or violently graphic contents 📢Inappropriate posts are not allowed📢 weverse is striving to create a community space that's comfortable and safe for everyone. Any and all posts that may offend or scare other users and artists are not allowed on weverse. The following activities have been banned. 1) Posts that are considered harmful to young children and teenagers 2) Sharing or distributing pornographic photographs and videos that were illegally filmed 3) Images, videos, or deepfakes of themselves or others that were edited and otherwise manipulated to add sexual undertones 4) Posts that contain texts, images, videos, and other forms of sexually inappropriate exposures of themselves or others, explicit descriptions of sexual organs or sexual acts, and abnormal sexual behaviors 5) Posts that contain violent content, or glorifies and encourages violence 6) Posts glorifying and encouraging criminal acts, and posts that discuss illegal products such as weapons and drugs —-----------------------------------------—-------- 📌Let's go over the guideline for weverse LIVE📌 weverse LIVE is where fans and artists can most directly and instantaneously communicate with each other. Artists will often read chat messages during LIVES, and fans from all over the world will be present in the chat messages. So please be extra careful with your words! 1) Mind your manners when communicating with the artists 2) Refrain from spamming the chat, trying to order the artists, and making excessive requests 3) Stay on topic and don't try to force topics that are unrelated to the artist during the LIVE 4) Over-criticizing other fans' comments 📌Let's go over the guideline for profiles📌 The restrictions outlined above apply to profiles without exception. Please also be careful of the following: 1) Uploading multiple posts asking others to follow their profile in communities (spamming) 2) Inappropriate profile photos - Using edited photos of artists that have been edited for the purpose of hate or slander (hate messages, using stickers to make hateful comments, blurring, etc.) - Using images of other artists that are not appropriate for the community - Using images of artists and themselves that have been edited and which may lead to misconception - Using images that are intended to impersonate artists or moderators 3) Inappropriate profile bios - Text that defames an artist’s honor, or slanders the artist through baseless speculation - Text about other artists that are unrelated to the community - Text created with the intention to sell something, or that contains personal information for monetary transaction - Text with excessive personal information that may lead to secondary damage - Text created with the intention to impersonate artists or moderators 📌Let's go over the guideline for "Hide from Artist"📌 "Hide from Artist" is a feature that hides your post from the artist in each community. Please use it wisely, when you're uploading posts about voting, streaming, or participating in events. The use of "Hide from Artist" feature is encouraged for the following posts: 1) Posts that encourage voting and streaming, or posts created to participate in events 2) Posts about surprise events for the artists or something you can share only between fans * If you repeatedly use the "Hide from Artist" feature for posts that are not mentioned above, it will be considered a violation of this guideline. —-----------------------------------------—-------- 🚨Please report when you see violations of this guideline!🚨 You can use the "Report" feature to make weverse a better place. 1) When you see posts (posts, comments, chat messages, etc.) that violate the guideline or find posts that deter weverse from providing a positive and safe environment, do not hesitate to use the "Report" feature, on the upper right corner of posts. 2) Reported posts, comments, and chat messages will be automatically registered as reported content through weverse algorithms. Users who repeatedly violate the guidelines will be restricted from using the service. 📝Let's find out what activities will be restricted if you're reported📝 If you have been found to be guilty of violating the guidelines, you will be restricted from using this service. The following activities will be restricted for you, and your restrictions will become permanent if you are found to be intentionally and repeatedly violating the guidelines. 1) Your posts will be hidden - All or some of your posts/comments/chat messages will be hidden for a set period of time. 2) You will not be allowed to write posts - You will not be allowed to write posts (posts, comments, chat messages, etc.) for a set period of time. - In some cases, you will permanently be banned from writing posts. 3) Your profile will be restricted - You will not be able to access other users' profiles and you will be deleted from follower lists. - You will be allowed to write posts, comments, chat messages, etc. But the details of your profile will be deleted. (profile photo, background, and links) 4) You will not be allowed to participate in communities - You will be banned from using some or all communities either for a set period of time or permanently. —-----------------------------------------—-------- Please make sure you follow the guideline to ensure weverse stays a healthy global community for everyone.
